This week, the orchestra traveled up to the mountains to play at the grand opening for a brand new school in Nordette, a small mountain village. In front of hundreds of happy villagers and excited schoolchildren, the orchestra proudly performed “Le Desalinienne”, Haiti’s national anthem. It was truly an amazing sight to see.
